Report from a trip to Taiwan and participation in the TIMTOS 2023 trade fair

The first days of March are the most important event for the metal processing sector. Every year, the international trade fair for metalworking machines called TIMTOS is held in the capital of Taiwan. In addition to Asian exhibitors, numerous guests come from all over the world. This was also the case with the representation of our company this year.

The CEO of Eurometal and the head of the marketing department went to Taipei to strengthen business relations with long-term suppliers, but also to familiarize themselves with the current offer of exhibitors and expand their knowledge about the new products of SOCO, PINNACLE, EVERISING, EASTAR and FORTHWORTH. The cross-sectional presentation of plastic processing and cutting machines was divided into two exhibition facilities. One of them in the vicinity of (until recently) the tallest building in the world, the famous 101 skyscrapper in the center of the capital. The remaining 2 halls are a little further towards the outskirts of the metropolis called Nangang. In both locations, you could meet exhibitors that Eurometal represents exclusively in Poland.



At a large stand in the middle of Hall 1, SOCO (a manufacturer of bending machines for pipes, rods and profiles, as well as laser cutting machines for sheet metal and pipes) prepared a comprehensive set of machines for visitors. The SB-32x9A-2S-V-U pipe bending machine model, equipped with a robot and feeder (ROBOT-BTM-2-46+SDO), enjoyed huge interest. The machine is characterized by a head that works in both directions (left/right). In addition to the practical advantages of the automation system itself through the material feeding function, it was impossible to ignore the fact how precisely and with natural ease the device managed to bend steel pipes assisted by a fully integrated robot.


Our attention was also drawn to the modern SLT-155-FIBER laser cutting machine, available in an economical version, but without compromising on the speed of work.

We also met with representatives of PINNACLE, which is one of the leading manufacturers of advanced CNC milling centers. The stand presented, among others, the small U5 machining center and the LV105 milling center, which has been recognized for years.

We were also present at the manufacturer of slotting machines (EASTAR), specialized band saws (EVERISING) and vertical milling machines (FORTWORTH).



During our stay, we visited the SOCO factory, where we also familiarized ourselves with many models of pipe chamfering machines, various circular saws or bending machines and laser cutters for pipes, which were not shown at the fair.
